Capped Divorce Fees
If you decide not to take advantage of our Fixed Fee Scheme or you are not eligible to do so we can offer Capped Fees.
Capped Fees are suitable for stages in Court proceedings, representation at Court or negotiating an agreement. Our Capped Fees require a payment on account to commence work depending on the nature of the work covered by this arrangement.
Where a Capped Fee is agreed, you are charged at the fee earner’s normal hourly rate up to an agreed capped amount. Your instructions would be taken before exceeding work to this value.
The main advantage of a Capped Fee is that you know exactly what the maximum fee payable will be (the cap) but if agreement can be negotiated at an early stage the actual costs may be less than the Capped Fee agreed.
